About Dean

Like most people the start of my own fitness journey wasn’t smooth or easy, it was a slow and a gradual venture that has been continuing for over 10 years now with lots of different influences and motivations that has brought me to where I am today but the most important reason and drive that keeps me going is that heart disease is a high risk in my family.

When I was younger I lost both my father and oldest brother due to heart problems and unhealthy lifestyles and naturally I didn’t want the same to happen to me…..

At the time and for the following years if I wasn’t working I was gaming or hanging out with friends and although I wasn’t active I was lean/skinny and in my mind considered myself “healthy” but that changed when a friend of mine convinced me to get start doing martial arts and it was safe to say even the beginner classes were a challenge and also became the eye opener I needed to change my lifestyle.

Over the years my passion for fitness grew and I decided to make the change to become a Personal Trainer to share my knowledge and personal experiences with others to help them on their own fitness journey’s and promote a healthier life style. I am still a gamer at heart but I’m here to show you that you can follow your passions and hobbies while still being able to have a healthy life balance and achieve your fitness goals!
